Long Week

To say it has been a long week would be an understatement.  I'll just break down the events:

Sunday- Caroline starts running a fever.  Not her usual happy self.  Doctor says she has pink eye again (eye wasn't even red) and another ear infection.

Monday- Caroline stays home from daycare b/c you have to be on eyedrops for 36 hours.

Tuesday- Caroline starts running a fever of 102.  Very fussy but very cuddly.
            - Our air conditioner dies.
-We find out we need a new air conditioner...Seriously?!  Our house is 6 years old.
-We pack our bags and head to my aunt's house to stay the night.  It takes forever to pack b/c
                     when packing for Caroline.

Wednesday- Caroline feeling better and goes back to daycare.
                  - We get another opinion on the the air conditioner....the same but a little
                     less money.

Thursday-   Air conditoner gets replaced and we get to stay in our house in our own
bed!  (Even though it was very nice of my aunt to let us stay with her.  She
                   also cooked for us).

Friday-       TGIF!!

Lost And Found

Yesterday Caroline and I went to Kohls to get Nana a birthday present....and to see if they had any cute play clothes.  I was strolling her along and she was pretty content with her paci and Mr. Lovie (yes I name all of her stuffed animals).  I was looking through the clothes and next thing I notice is Mr. Lovie is gone.  I check to make sure it isn't stuck under her in her stroller...nope.  I retrace my steps.  We had only been in the picture frames before heading to the children's section...nope.  I'm thinkg...uh oh....meltdown coming soon.  This girl loves her Mr. Lovie.  We know if she cries, it, or he will make it better.  It was a gift and I was considering calling ther person who gave it to her to ask where they got it from.  As a last resort I walk to customer service to see if anyone had turned him in.  And there he was sitting on the counter.  Someone did turn him in....and Caroline was reunited with Mr. Lovie.  Whew!  I put him in her bag after that.  She was happy and didn't need him at all.  It's alway best to be prepared though :)

Our 2nd home

Caroline's pediatrician that is.  This is the 3rd time in a week we have been to see her doctor.  1st for an ear infection and then last week for pink eye and ear infection (I do love her doctor though.  She has seen his wife too who is also a pediatrician there and we just love them).  And then today....Last night I noticed what I thought were little bug bites on her arms.  Then all of a sudden they started spreading....everywhere.  I took her to see the doctor today and it turns out she had an allergic reaction to the penicillin in her antibiotic for her ear infection.  Poor thing.  And to top it all off she had her flu shot today too.  The reaction is not contagious which I am thankful for.  We love her doctors but hopefully this is the last visit for a while.

Wednesday Loving

Happy Hump Day!!  It's been a long week so far with the extra overtime I've been having to do.  Friday can't come soon enough.  For now I'm just greatful it's not Monday!  Here's what I'm loving today:

Link up with Jamie

{1} I'm loving that I'm starting this Bible study with a few girls on the blog next week....which reminds me I need to get the book now.

{2} I'm loving my Kindle Fire where I will be ordering #1's book :).  I've read quite a few books on it.....most were sleep related baby books and how to get Sweet C on a schedule.   But I did read the 1st book in the Hunger Games and now I'm reading the 2nd one.  Sweet C is on a great schedule now so that leaves me more time for reading.

{3} I'm loving this great weather.   Most days when I pick up C at daycare we go for a walk in our neighborhood.  She loves being outside and for me (after being cooped up inside all day-working from home....not complaining thought) it's great to get some fresh air as well.

Caroline's 1st Easter

Caroline had her 1st Easter this past Sunday.  She looked adorable in her little white dress.  We took her to big church since she had pink eye and we didn't want to infect the whole nursey.  She did really well.  She did mumble once during prayer but it was the cutest thing I have to say.  Her Nana and PawPaw came into town and we, along with my parents, went to Beef O'Brady's-yummo for lunch.  That afternoon we had a little picture session outside in the shade since the weather was beautiful.  The Easter bunny was very good to Caroline.  He also didn't forget about her parents this year!  I hope every one had a great Easter :)

Life Happened

So I've been absent from the blog posting world...not the blog world as I am still an admitted blog stalker...I just haven't posted in foooooreeever-since Caroline was 3 months old.  Oh my goodness-and now she is 7 months (will be 8 months on April 24th).  How did that happen?  Life Happened.....pink eye, teething, ear infection, 4 month wakeful period, starting daycare and that's just her.  The hubs owns his own insurance agency so he works late hours and coaches little league.  I have been having to work a ton of overtime.  I'm thankful that Sweet C goes to bed around 8 so I can catch up with DVR and cleaning house. I guess I'll just start from scratch:  I changed the blog name to Sweet Caroline as I seem to have problems messing up my other blogs when I try to change the design from a template to a background.

Anywho so much has been happening with Caroline:

-Weighs 14 pounds (5th percentile).  She is itty bitty.
-Has 2 bottom teeth.
-About to crawl anytime.  Would much rather roll to where she wants to go.
- Can sit up for about 5 seconds at a time and then falls over.
- Loves her lovie.
- Can say mama and dada!

I am going to try so very hard to keep up with the blog this time around.
